The purpose of this blog is to warn people about the terrible scam this company is running under disguise of a legitimate web hosting service, so that somebody who may be considering subscribing to their "services" knows exactly what he is getting himself into and does not fall victim of their sweet talk and false advertisement and burned badly in the end the way it happened to me.

Hosting24.com

Here is the review I posted on http://www.000webhost.com/directory/reviews/hosting24.com
(note the name of the host! they basically host a whole website, where they "review" their own service!)
Needless to say, my review was removed from their site within hours, ALONG with about 50 of other negative reviews, where people described their experience with these fraudsters. They also blocked my IP, which tells a lot about their intelligence as well - apparently, these people, pretending to run a "hosting service", have never heard about proxy servers :)

hosting24.com is run by the same company as 000webhost (this website). They are reviewing themselves here basically! :) See for yourself. Come back in a few hours, and this review will not be here. They will remove it, because, they don't like reviews showing honest information to show up. There were several pages of VERY negative reviews here on Saturday, and see what's left now? Just the fake praises they post here themselves. They even nuked all the neutral ones! So much for objectivity. This fact alone should tell you enough about what kind of business they are running.

They also blocked my IP, which tells a lot about their intelligence as well - apparently, these clowns, pretending to run a "hosting service", have never heard about proxy servers, dynamic IPs, AOL network etc. :) (if you subscribe to their service, none of your users who happen to use the same proxies I use, or simply uses AOL for ISP will be able to access your website :).

This is very indicative of the company in general. They will trick you into subscribing to their service promising all kinds of wonderful features they don't really, and then, when you start asking about all that stuff you were promised, they'll just ask for more money. And more money. And even more money.
And that's not even the worst of it. If they simply don't like you, they will not only close your account, and take down the site without any warning, but also DESTROY ALL YOUR DATA, so that you can't get anything back from your site. Backups do not work either. So, do not think, you'll just backup periodically and be all set.
If you sign up with this hosting, you should GIVE UP ANY HOPE OF EVER GETTING THE DATA YOUR WEBSITE COLLECTS back from them.

Here are some links to detailed accounts of people's experiences with this fraud. For your own sake, if you are considering subscribing to this service, be sure to read these first:

  1. I completely agree with you about this service. Furthermore, there affiliate program is an aoutright scam. they promise $5 for each person you can get to sign up on their site. I had written about them on my blog hoping to make some referral money and then buy the $5 hosting they offer. I had at least 3 of my readers e-mail me and let me know they signed up under my referral link. Those are the ones that I know of. I'm sure there were more. Yet, 000webhost.com claims I still have 0 referrals. What a scam!

  2. After 2 months I promote this 000webhost and now have more 24 activate account which 16 ready to be pay, Now I know that this free webhost is totally scam.

They are so professional to trick people who first time come visit their site. Promote affiliate to get higher traffic and rangking..

By the way, I'll try to request cashout for what have done. If I don't even get any cent from this site, I'll reply here and tell all my friends that I know to do not use their hosting or even promote their affiliate program.

  3. i hosted with Hosting24 for just under a year now i bough there business reseller package and was happy with it for the first 2 days then things started to go wrong the enom account that they say they will provide you they don't because they haven't worked out a deal with them yet as you know this is false advertising, same thing happened with there website template you get, your ment to get this instantly when your account is activated but to my surprise they wouldn't give me it, so i worked it out with there staff and admin (this had taken me 40 support posts to get it) and then had to wait 3 weeks for the website to be delivered to me and they also say "You will get 2 hours of our web designer time for your customizations. We can change logo, menu section, slogan text, integrate design with your billing software" but to a surprise when i asked for the 2 hours with there designer they said to me that the time allocated was used to create my template and as anyone who can take a psd and split it up to make a site (without content) should know that it doesn't take 2 hours to split a single page up in to 17 images and since then i have bough a template from template monster my self and guess what the images are already split up as far as i know all the "designer" did was type 6 words which was the menu. the quality of service i received was disgraceful the servers are ment to be up 99.9% of the time which is about 9 hours the servers where down for at least a total time of 40 hours with in the first 3 months and this got worse the speed is also terrible my site had taken upto 5 minuets to view one page that was 10.15kb which i can download from my new servers in 0.6s, with in the first 6 months i had raised 52 support tickets each with an average of 10 posts, there support staff try to hep you but most of the time the staff try to help you have to dumb everything down and not use big words (i hold nothing against the support staff they try there best and i relay appreciated it) currently as we speek i have had to wait 602 hours for my domain to be transfers to my registrar i this only takes seconds as i have transfers my clients domains before. all in all hositng 24 are very very poor web hostlers .
    support 3/10
    help desk staff 6/10
    hosting 0/10
    server uptime 0/10
    promises kept by hosting24 0/10

  4. First of all this hosting company sucks!!! NEVER buy from this idiots hosting, is the biggest mistake you can do for your business ! I have 8 months of hosting from this idiots and I have only problems . Today I've had my website down for 4 hours and I loosed 300 euros . When I was talking with the support guys they told me at the beginning that they didnt know that they had this issue , after 30 minutes they changer their mind and told me that they have network issues and they hard drives displayed "disk read errors". I wanted to report the to BBB, but they dont want to provide their information, like phone number, company name and address .
The tehnical support is full of shit, they don't know nothing about servers and how to maintain them up&running .
The cpu usage is most of the time over 15% and the site is working like hell, even they suspended my website because of resource consuming , but the site is running on a 586 pc with 233mhz cpu and 256 ram.. they have dual xeon (and I think they lie) ..
The service is slow, even google confirm that in webmaster tools !
they have limits that are not advertised corectly on the website.
Overall I will NOT suggest or recommend this hosting company !
This is the biggest scam ever in hosting field!

  6. There is no dearth of fraudsters and scam artists who beguile people with fake company names leading to fraudulent scams.

  7. My website's account has been suspended and now they want us to sign up too hosting24 or we wont get our data back, WTF!!

  8. When you buy a paid hosting, you do not get your data back. Own experience. The data are permanently deleted with no backup, when is the account suspended.

  9. My website was blamed of sending more than 1000 emails with 0 visitor. If this is their scam of deleting other people's websites from their hosting, well, they've done a great job !!! So, I would like to recommend others NOT to use 000webhost.com because you will definitely upset and disappointed at the end

  10. I am glad a I did a search of this company. I was considering a free host for the simple reason that I wanted to see if I'd get into having my own site. If I did, I'd go to a paid host.
    Thanks for the warning.

  11. http://www.000webhost.com/

They are fraudulent, vengeful and spiteful...not for anything that you've done to them. But just because they don't like something about your website. Maybe the topic of your website is about obesity or about home remedies or about atheism....whatever...if it doesn't suit them, they dig into your background, find out who you are and then do nasty spiteful things. You'll know it...find out for yourself, if you're crazy enough to still sign up with them after all that everyone here has talked of their experience.

  12. I also had a terrible experience with these people similar to other comments. http://www.000webhost.com/ wiped out a legitimate business website during our first backup because it violated their terms... It used to much CPU power to run the backup. They wouldn't even allow me to download the website and claimed it was immediately deleted.

When I asked for their address to send legal correspondence they said they would not provide that information :)

  13. Thanks so much for warning me about hosting24, I was just about to get hosting with them...
Do you think this is reliable hosting? Hgdeal

  14. I should have ready the reviews first, my account got suspended yesterday for sending mass emails. I haven't sent one email to anyone, even to test the accounts were working. Account was a day old I had not even finished uploading content. Then the only response I can get from staff is to buy an account. So stay away from them, it is a scam and right now I am demanding they let me in to my account to recover my data.

All these domains are owned by the same sham outfit from Lithuania and hit the scene around 2009 when lead fraudster, Aurimas Rapalis of Hostinger International devised a brilliant scam program that promised advertisers $5 for each referral… Problem was, they never paid.

Simultaneously, Aurimas and his con-outfit of illegal teenagers were also tricking their “free hosting” subscribers into upgrading to the paid service by artificially inflating their data useage and thus, automatically shutting down their hosted websites.

Like a complete douche, the young Aurimas love to flaunt his stolen wealth and can be seen driving a Ferrari, Skiing and even posting his bank deposits on his FaceBook page: www.facebook.com/aurimas.rapa . Just like that movie the Wolf Of Wallstreet, this idiot doesn’t know when to cash out. They are the type of scammers that are constantly on the run, changing their name and switching to new domains when people call them out. He’ll probably take the page offline sometime soon so I added a few couple screenshots:

He also keeps some very interesting company, but that's just my personal opinion and shouldn't sway your decision to do business with a known scammer. http://s28.postimg.org/o4due6qt9/Interesting_Company.jpg

As a rule of thumb: I would STAY AWAY FROM LITHUANIAN HOSTING THAT TAKES WESTERN UNION! (One would think that would be common sense.

  18. Hosting24 is a SCAM and they're desperately trying to get new customers by opening a new page with fake reviews from websites that THEY DON'T EVEN HOST!

They also trick you with some fake "HIGH CPU USAGE" shit... what the fuck are they using Pentium II or just trying to make you upgrade and pay more? They totally suspends your sites until you upgrade and you can't access backups or any data
